I teach a section of a course entitled Community Assessment & Planning. My section of this course focuses on sports physical therapy and it application to community health. Students enrolled in my fall 2017 semester of this course were instructed to create 1-2 page infographics with the objective of identifying and learning more about opportunities for sport and recreational activities for people with physical challenges and presenting the educational information in a comprehensive and visually attractive way. The students were divided into teams and selected their topic from a list of sports and activities provided by myself.  Each team spent several weeks gathering information and preparing their infographics prior to turning in an initial draft. I reviewed and provided editorial feedback on their initial drafts and the teams were given 2 weeks to make changes and submit a subsequent draft.  This process continued until all teams had achieved a completed project.
